This weekend has been very exciting for me - I have finally got a new little hamster!!! :-) My other hamster, Jazzy, passed away last November after having her for two and a half years. She is still missed but I have taken the plunge and got a new little girl called Rosie. So far she has been very curious and seems to be settling in well. I will post a picture later when she's settled in a bit more - I don't want to blind her with a flash.
This does mean however, that I will have to be much more careful with my stitching and lace stuff - it wouldn't be good to leave pins and threads lying around for her to swallow! It also means less stitching time as from experience I know that you have to supervise them every second whilst they're out. Jazzy was always escaping and getting into mischief!!
